last i checked damon wasn’t the cause of the accident so that can still be ruled as an accident.

as for all the other bad shit….that didnt happen until after she started dating stefan. and she wasn’t all happy and in love after she met stefan….she was at first freaked out cause he was a vamp and then she was okay…and then crazy shit went down and people died.
